 *1.SONMARG 

Sonmarg, also known as the "Meadow of Gold," is a picturesque town located in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir. It is a popular tourist destination known for its scenic beauty and adventurous activities. The best time of the year to visit Sonamarg is between the months of April to October. Most tourists throng the area during the months of July and August as devotees go on annual Amarnath pilgrimage. This results in heavy pilgrimage traffic.Snow begins falling in Kashmir around late October at higher altitudes, like Gulmarg and Sonamarg and main snowfall season however, occurs between December and February, with Gulmarg, Pahalgam, and Sonamarg being the top spots for snowfall lovers. The beautiful, Sindh river flowing through the green meadows and the breath taking view of snow covered mountains.

Modur Pulav. Srinagar is famous for some of the exotic spices like saffron, green cardamom, and others. The sweetened Kashmiri rice, Modur Pulav is a delicacy, which is flavored with green cardamom, saffron, almonds, cashew, and sugar. The best time to visit Srinagar is from April to October when the weather is not too cold and is perfect for sightseeing. Gulmarg temperature hovers between 15°C to 30°C. Monsoons start from July and continue till September. Summers in Gulmarg are mild and pleasant, with temperatures hovering around 20 degrees Celsius. The town is not snow-covered during this period, offering tourists a chance to explore its natural beauty sans the snow. This is also a great time for trekking, golfing, and also gondola rides.

This village's history dates back to the time of the Mughal monarchs. Pahalgam famous for its forests, crystal-clear lakes and sprawling meadows.Pahalgam in Kashmir's Anantnag district, is a popular tourist attraction that has been dubbed "mini-Switzerland" due to its scenic splendour.Pahalgam might be a better choice if you're searching for tranquil settings, outdoor activities, and a more relaxed environment. Pahalgam's cold weather makes it perfect for a summer trip, as the lower temps make it a perfect summer destination in India. As Nandi is also known as Bel. So the village was named “Belgav”. After so many years now we know this village as “Pahalgam”. One of the most visited places in Kashmir is the vast hill station of Pahalgam. It also serves as one of the important paths that lead to the Annual Amarnath Yatra in Kashmir. Visiting Pahalgam and all of its meadows and streams is completely safe and peaceful.

*5.DOODPATHRI

The name doodpathri means Valley of Milk. It is said that the famous saint of Kashmir Sheikh ul Aalam Sheikh Noor din Noorani has prayed here and once when he was in search of water in the meadows, to offer prayers, he pricked the ground with his stick to search for water and milk came out.There is no snow whatsoever in May and June in Doodhpathri Kashmir. In winter the meadows of doodhpathri remains covered under thick blanket of snow. The months from April to September is the best time to visit doodhpathri. From November to February you can enjoy snowfall in doodhpathri. It is absolutely safe to visit doodhpathri . I also watched videos of Doodhpathri on which further motivated my decision to come here. The scenery is breathtaking, and the snowfall enhances its beauty, making it incredibly appealing for tourists who wish to experience it at least once in their lives. The water that is currently flowing through the meadows has a milky appearance from a distance and remains very cold throughout the year. The lush green grasses over the vast meadows and silver-shining streams running over the large stones further increase its beauty.

Doodhpatri waterfall point is the main attraction in the Doodhpatri region. It's not a waterfall per say, but river Shaliganga flows through rocks and seems like milk, hence the name doodhpatri.

"दूधपथरी" नाम का अर्थ है दूध की घाटी। ऐसा कहा जाता है कि कश्मीर के प्रसिद्ध संत शेख उल आलम शेख नूर दीन नूरानी ने यहां प्रार्थना की थी और एक बार जब वह प्रार्थना करने के लिए घास के मैदानों में पानी की तलाश में थे, तो उन्होंने पानी की तलाश में अपनी छड़ी से जमीन को छेदा और दूध निकला। दूधपथरी कश्मीर में मई और जून में बिल्कुल भी बर्फ नहीं होती है। सर्दियों में दूधपथरी के घास के मैदान बर्फ की मोटी चादर से ढके रहते हैं। अप्रैल से सितंबर के महीने दूधपथरी जाने का सबसे अच्छा समय है। नवंबर से फरवरी तक आप दूधपथरी में बर्फबारी का आनंद ले सकते हैं। दूधपथरी जाना बिल्कुल सुरक्षित है। मैंने दूधपथरी के वीडियो भी देखे, जिससे मुझे यहां आने के लिए और प्रेरणा मिली। दृश्य अद्भुत है, और बर्फबारी इसकी सुंदरता को बढ़ा देती है विशाल घास के मैदानों पर हरी-भरी घास और बड़े-बड़े पत्थरों पर बहती चांदी जैसी चमकती धाराएं इसकी सुंदरता को और बढ़ा देती हैं।

दूधपात्री झरना बिंदु दूधपात्री क्षेत्र का मुख्य आकर्षण है। यह कोई झरना नहीं है, बल्कि शालिगंगा नदी चट्टानों के बीच से बहती है और दूध की तरह लगती है, इसलिए इसका नाम दूधपात्री पड़ा।

*6.DAL LAKE

Dal lake the urban lake is an integral part of tourism and recreation in Kashmir and has been nicknamed the "Jewel in the Crown of Kashmir" or "Jewel of Srinagar". The lake is also an important source for commercial operations in fishing and water plant harvesting.

Dal lake has been tow side the front side of the lake neat clean and beautiful. but the backside of the lake looks un clean. Dal lake is situated in the state of Jammu and Kashmir the northern-most state of India, strategically surrounded by four countries, on the East by Tibet, on the North-East by China, on the North by Afghanistan and on the West by Pakistan. Dal Lake in Kashmir is a must-visit destination in India, offering one of the most unique and surreal experiences, the Shikara ride. Tourists can also hire a cab to Lal Chowk and then use a public transport like bus to reach Dal Lake. One can also take a Boulevard road as it takes only 20 minutes to reach Dal Lake from Lal Chowk. To reach Dal Lake from Srinagar International airport, tourists can book a cab or taxi available outside the airport. May to November is the best time to visit Dal Lake.
